
Jack serves as the Chief Operating Officer for Micell Technologies and brings more than 30 years of general management and product development experience in the medical products field to this position.
Prior to joining Micell, Jack consulted to DuPont's implantable biomaterials program and was the Vice President of Operations for Living MicroSystems, a developer of fetal cell isolation technology for genetic screening. He was the Vice President of Product Development for MicroChips, Inc., where he led development of MEMS-based electronic implants for the delivery of protein drugs and biosensor applications. Before MicroChips, he was the Vice President of Development & Operations at Focal, Inc., which commercialized a family of absorbable polymeric surgical sealants. At C.R. Bard's Cardiology Division, he was the Vice President of Research & development and led the development of coronary angioplasty products. He later served as President of their Critical Care Division.
Jack holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Missouri and an MBA in Marketing from the University of Colorado. He is a contributing inventor on thirty six issued US patents and is a registered Professional Engineer.
