Michael R. Jaff, D.O. is President at Newton-Wellesley Hospital in Newton, MA; Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School; Medical Director of the Fireman Vascular Center; and Medical Director of the Massachusetts General Hospital, Center for Specialized Services. He is a clinical consultant in vascular medicine and diagnostic strategies. Dr. Jaff also is the founder and Medical Director of VasCore, Vascular Ultrasound Core Laboratory. Vascore is the largest core laboratory of its kind in the United States and has participated in trial design and independent analysis of vascular laboratory images for more than 150 prospective multicenter trials.

Dr. Jaff has published more than 150 peer-reviewed articles and nine textbooks. He is the past president of the Society for Vascular Medicine and Biology, and received the first designation as Master of the Society for Vascular Medicine. He received the Leaders in Vascular Education award at the 2010 Vascular Interventional Advances meeting. He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, American College of Cardiology, American Heart Association, Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Intervention, and is a registered physician in vascular interpretation.

Dr. Jaff received his D.O. in Osteopathic Medicine from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, an honorary Doctorate of Science from A.T. Still University School of Medicine and is an alumnus of Harvard Business School.
